When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — used to identify your account and for authentication
• Password — stored securely and never stored in plain text (handled by Supabase Auth)

2.2 Receipt and Financial Data

When you scan or import receipts, we collect and store:

• Receipt images — original photos and processed versions
• Extracted receipt data — store/merchant name, receipt date, total amount, GST/HST tax amounts, and tax registration numbers
• Raw OCR text — the full text extracted from your receipt images
• Confidence scores — metadata about the accuracy of extracted values
